Michelle Vale was born in New Jersey and currently resides in New York City, where she has lived on and off since she was a child. Michelle's upbringing has deep roots in the fashion industry. Both her parents had careers in New York fashion, which helped fuel her imagination and sense of style. Her father, most notably, held a senior role at Sasson Jeans during their heyday in the '80s, and her mother owned and operated a clothing boutique. Shortly after graduating from University, Michelle began her career, working at Jive Records, a division of Sony BMG. This, and various positions she held over the following years in the financial arena, helped to prepare her for her ultimate goal... running her own fashion company. Today, Michelle's meticulous nature and individual style have revealed themselves in the artistry of Michelle Vale, a true and wonderful new take on the modern handbag.
